One thing I learned by reading those "hot takes"...is Wade wasn't even Horseface's first choice for DC. He wanted VJ...he essentially lucked into the coordinator that transformed their defense. Do Donko fans even comprehend that if El-tard's booze-infused vision of that team came to fruition...that VJ is their DC for Manning's final years?

So a HGH-riddled Manning fell into his lap...then he ass-backwards into Wade running his defense.

What exactly has he done besides being extremely lucky? Manning essentially was the de facto OC...

Anyone watch Dez giving reasons why he signed with the Saints over other teams...."to play with Brees". I wonder if their fans are singing NO GMs praises for landing him..."He's a genius"

Yeah, that Kubiak/Kessum combo...would have them at 8-1.

They STILL think they are a play-off caliber team after going 5-11 and currently sitting at 3-6.

They haven't had back-to back-losing seasons in many of their lifetimes...it's entertaining to watch.

I do hope they muster enough pride to beat the Chargers at home....
Um...didn't the Kubiak / Minus Manning season produce a 3rd place 9-7 team that MISSED the playoffs??? THAT team had a better defense. NO WAY IN HELL this team comes close to 9 wins with or without Kubes. But DonkTard is gonna Tard, so...

In fairness, that's what happened in 2013 during the Peyton Manning Farewell Tour and Exhibition Season.

Exactly. Gifted about 5 wins + Home Field. THAT was at best a 9-7 team had everything been legit.

To be fair, Jamaal gifted them one of those 5. KC should have swept donk that year.

I, begrudgingly, always gave Horseface props for the Wade choice...it was the one decision I thought was great. Turns out...he almost ****ed that one up too.

He didn't even want Phillips...he wanted VJ. Holy shit would that team have been different...

It explains why Horseface kicked Wade to the curb and brought in VJ as HC...which has them approaching their worst 2 year stretch in 45 years.

"In Elway we trust"...get out of here with that bullshit.

If you take accidentally landing Wade out of the equation...he's been absolutely terrible.

Their stat line had them at around 8-8...it was the biggest "ref-job" in modern NFL history. Manning was the worst rated starting QB in the NFL...you'll never see a SB winning QB rated 32nd again.

The Pats game was only time I've seen NE get hosed by they refs. Osweiler actually beat Brady in Foxborough...thanks to a ton of late, bogus flags sustaining drives. Patriots fans STILL bring it up...it determined HFA.

While there were no “inadvertent whistles” in this one, there were plenty of flags that left players and fans alike shaking their heads. Two questionable flags hurt the Patriots in the fourth quarter: An offensive pass interference on Rob Gronkowski that negated a 10-yard gain on third-and-5, and a defensive holding on safety Patrick Chung that wiped out a sack for the New England defense that would have had the Broncos facing a third-and-goal from the 15-yard line.

The Patriots were forced to punt a play after Gronkowski’s flag, and the Broncos scored the go-ahead touchdown after Chung’s penalty.

Boomer Esiason of The NFL Today and WFAN joined Toucher & Rich on Monday morning to discuss the Patriots’ loss, and said those questionable calls by the refs spoiled what was an otherwise great game.

“It’s unfortunate because the only way you can beat the Patriots is if you take four of their top offensive players off the field, the officials have their hand in the game, and then you have to have some momentum switch because [Chris Harper] muffs a punt. The officials were calling penalties all over the place, some legit some not so legit. I feel like the officials last night really let the game get out of control. There were questionable calls, especially the offensive pass interference on Gronkowski. The holding in the end zone on Chung was very questionable,” said Boomer. “It seemed liked the entire fourth quarter there was a yellow flag on the field, and when it was thrown it was against the Patriots.

I remember once you detailed the "weird" events of the games in question. I actually used them in support of my position in a discussion with MHM, but he just dismissed them as," things happen." They certainly do, BUT when one team has "things happen" repeatedly and it ALL goes in their favor, then something is up - and it sure was THAT season for the Donx. And then it happened in the SB - Had that catch been allowed by Carolina, Von NEVER gets his strip sack TD and it's a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT game.

But, I thought the New England game, that ended up deciding Home Field, was in Denver? I could be wrong...

They are getting absolutely pickled on the brain over at the Minge. I am reading some of the most reeruned and outlandish takes of these fools trying to reason their way back to a playoff team in a year or two.

They have completely ****ing lost it.

It was...

Check out the Manning or bust "bailout" penalty...there is nothing there but a late 1st down conversion the NFL didnt want to happen. Even the most homer of Donko homers have to admit it was a BS, game determining call.

Still say it was stupid to ditch Siemian, he could do everything Keenum does for a helluva lot less money... he should've been the starter until Elway could find some aging pro bowler to overpay

Not even trolling, but Elway really is a shit GM

There’s rumors John Harbaugh may get canned, if that happens he’s my first choice as HC. As for a QB, the Broncos have really painted themselves into a corner, they are almost forced to draft a QB in round 1 and when a team is forced to draft a QB for need, well, that almost never works out.
