Add the fact that Watson is starting to settle back in from injury, and Houston's Defense is coming on strong.

I think they can certainly split with LAC, depends on Gordon. SFF, CLE and OAK are three others. 8-8 is definitely there, still an outside shot at my 9-7 prediction.

Would mean they have to come back from the bye incredibly inspired, so that's kind of a reach at this point. :-)

He kept his job after 5-11, but would get fired after 8-8 or 9-7? Plus, like you said, they played close games against KC and LAR. That sounds like a great argument to keep Radio. The arrow is pointing up.

IND/DAL/BUF/JAX/MIA - those are the 5 wins, 2 on the road - shootout @ IND. Miami being the only team @ .500 right now.
HOU lost to NEP, TEN and the Giants.

DEN has lost to KCX2, NYJ, BAL, LAR
Two losses to 7-1 KC (3 and 7 point margins), one loss to 8-0 LAR (3 point margin)... the Ravens are 4-4 and the Jets gutted them and are 3 wins.

Denver has by far played the tougher schedule compared to HOU, it's not even close.

So, it's not jumping the shark to say Denver will win and it's really not based on geography alone.

I thought KC beat Den 27 - 23 the first game? If so, that's 4 points...

Regarding Den / Hou - Denver has played a harder schedule than HOU, but HOU is playing better now and is arguably more talented, especially at QB. I still think geography will be the determining factor. I could not see Denver beating them if it were in Houston but can easily see it since its in Den.

As much as Id hope that happens, I'll stick to my preseason prediction that Den finishes 7 - 9 and Radio is gone for being the HC that guided them to back-to-back losing seasons.

It honestly just feels weird to finally have Denver in the rear view mirror, with no other AFCW team to truly challenge us... its definitely a first in my life as Chiefs fan

Denver need a real QB and a rebuild

Oakvegas is, well we know what it is

Rivers is on his last legs in Los Diego

I mean, its gonna be 5 years before any of these clubs can even think about competing with us... heady days indeed
