Again, KU doesn't want a conference network because they have substantial Tier 3 revenue that they don't have to share, while getting an equal cut of all the football revenue that we don't really generate for the league.

The default Final Four is the BCS. Elite programs have both.

When you are one win away from the title game, you are in the final four. Spin it however you want. No one equates a basketball final four with a BCS Bowl but you.

Playing for the SEC Championship and being one win away from the NC game is more prestigious than a BCS Bowl against Northern Illinois.

Find it interesting that you find a final four in football to be nothing, but you sure do love those KU final four years...how is that you can be one game away from a championship in football, and have that season be a "failure", yet lose in the final four, and brag about how great you are the rest of the year?

It's a fairly simple comparison. BCS bowls generate advertising revenue, tv ratings, and much more prestige than any of the other bowls.

Final Fours are similar in scope. The ratings and dollars associated with the FF prove this without a doubt.

And unfortunately for you mizzou would not have made the NCG even if they would have beat Auburn. Alabama would have. Bama owns you just like Bevo did.

UF lost to a 1-AA this year, KU went winless in the Big 12 in 2012, OSU lost 5 of 6 games earlier this year. It's very hard to sustain success in both.

Sure they would have. They didn't play in the SEC Champ Game in 2011 and played for the NCG.

The SEC Champ is more of a sideshow than anything else. Alabama lost on a fluke play to Auburn which would have given them one loss just like Missouri. Alabama would have been in the game.

And they would have got their shit pushed in just like Auburn did.
