Sorry but the reality of it is Nazeeh shouldn’t be seeing the field, except on special teams. You have a short-armed, undersized DB who gives up catches and yards in spades. He’s ALWAYS giving up yards and catches. Super unreliable and the DB version of Skyy Moore, both in terms of unplayability and lack of length/size. No one is saying Joshua Williams is a great player, but he gives us a better chance to win and isn’t a DB that’s picked on incessantly.

If all of us are seeing it, and opponents have made clear they’re seeing it and gleefully targeting Nazeeh as the weak link when he plays, then the evidence is self-explanatory. It comes down to Spagnuolo’s pride; we need to give ourselves the best chance to win (Ie: McDuffie in slot, Watson and Williams as boundary corners), not sabotage the 3 peat chances!

The Bills got 13 1st downs through the air and 5 of those were against Nazeeh. Nazeeh allowed 103 yds passing and the other 5 DBs gave up 121 yds. Nazeeh was the biggest reason why the Bills won in week 11. If Spags puts him out there then Andy better make a executive decision to pull that mother ****er. Listen, I'm not pushing for Nazeeh to get a lot of snaps, but why in the world would this be "Spagnuolo's pride"? What is this? Why would he be more 'proud' to play Nazeeh than Joshua Williams?

I don't understand what's going on, but I think this is a weird take.

It’s the Skyy Moore effect. Why were they playing him and giving him chances when it was clear this guy was… not NFL calibre and unplayable.

Just watched a Nazeeh Johnson interview. He’s down to earth, smart, says the right thing. An underdog mentality. Probably leaves a good impression in practice through hard work. Spags likes that.

So he gets playing time in the games, over a better player, and gets targeted & burned repeatedly and ends up being a major reason we lost last time we played the Bills, for example. But since we don’t “see” what Spags sees behind the scenes in practice and dedication to watching film or work habits etc, his pride or stubbornness doesn’t allow him to do the right thing and play the player that gives us a better chance to win.

I’m also going to lose it if Nazeeh (due to Spag’s behaviour) is the reason we lose to Buffalo this weekend.

Spags is married to his system and the guys who fit it. Also because he's old as hell, 65, he has no desire to deal with an athletic freak that makes mental mistakes.

It's how we ended up keeping Teanquill instead of Gay. It's also why he doesn't like Josh Williams because he makes mental mistakes in zone at times Nazeeh does too but I'm guessing he recites things off better in whiteboard meetings than Williams does.

Willie Gay would make sense. My son told me he met Willie Gay at my grandson's soccer game on Saturday. They live in Shawnee. Apparently, Willie was there for a nephew or something like that. Was all decked out in his Mississippi State gear. I wonder if he also attended the Chiefs game.

But I don't get the other comments in here about giving Uche more plays. I know he hasn't played a whole lot but from what I have seen, he has done nothing when given the opportunity.

I've dm'd several KC media guys to ask Spags about it this week. Hopefully one will because it was utterly bizarre. I still have to believe that whilst watching back the first Bills game and seeing how bad Johnson was. Common sense will prevail in the end.

That's great. Maybe I'm overthinking, but worried that if media does pose this question, Spags will double down on his own personal view and intentionally play Nazeeh more etc. To the detriment of team.

Damn, feeling nervous about the Bills. These games seem to always go either way. Every little advantage (or no disadvantage) would help.
