Tamba Hali

Has anyone seen him? His friends and family are worried.

What happened to our impact LB? The sack machine? The difference maker?

or is it because you started a thread knowing full well that it would be a bannable offense before you did it.

That said, I laughed.

I dont know how many times Hali has missed a sack and flushed a qb out of the pocket only to see the qb throw for a big gainer because of lacking talent on this defense.

FACT he has been a top five at his position player at pressures on the quarterback about every year he has played in the NFL and IMHO if we get a solid push up the middle and a pass rush presence other than him on this team, qbs wont be able to escape as much and it will start to make passers throw rushed and a lot of those pressures will turn to sacks (for him or the other defenders)

I think Hali could consistently get 12+ sacks if the other factors are lined up.
Pretty much. Really solid post. The hate on Hali around here ****ing ridiculous as hell. Calling him "just a guy" when he made Ryan Clady his bitch TWICE is reeruned.

People take those threads too seriously.

It's laughable how bent out of shape you can get some posters with a misleading thread title.

He's a just a ****ing guy. He's a role player on a good defense at best.
This is so ****ing stupid it's hard to put in words.

The entire team got trampled. If you can point out 1 guy to me that was doing their job that day feel free. No linebacker in the world is going to blow up constant double and triple teams because the two **** faces in front of him are getting blown up at the point and 3 linemen are in the second level 2 seconds after the ball is snapped. How? Did you watch the game?

Glenn Dorsey was missing from the lineup. They ran right over Hali all day long.

And stop with the "Get a clue" shit unless you want me to start calling out your ass for every ****ing stupid thing you post.

Laz is a phony bitch that's constantly punked around here for his lame brained threads and ideas, so he lashes out at me any chance he gets.

He took several months off last year from the 'Planet because he was clowned so often.

And yes, if you treat me with respect, I will do the same. The problem is that there are certain members that think they're funny or entertaining when they attack me without provocation.

And Laz is one of those people.

Sure thing. Go ahead.

You're making my point. They ran where Dorsey normally was most of the day, and what happened the guy that took his place? He was getting his ass handed to him, so two and sometimes three linemen were at the second level (because our nose tackle sucks) and you're putting this all on Hali? It's ridiculous.

Hali had a good year. Certainly better than most anyone from here expected. He was second in the NFL in pressures and had 8.5 sacks, a safety, 4 forced fumbles and 62 tackles. He did this without a good nose tackle and no pressure from anyone else on the line. So yeah you calling him "just a guy" is pretty stupid. If you give Tamba a true nose tackle and a helper from the other side, the guy can easily have 10-12 sacks per season from either side. I'm not saying he's some pro bowl guy but he's definitely a step above "just some guy". Corey Mays is "just some guy". So is DeMorrio Williams. Tamba had a good season.

Hali has been getting run on since the day he came in the league, it's part of who he is.

He also always gets a ton of pressures that line has been used since his rookie year also yet it never really shows on his sack total, he doesn't finish.

He's alright, that's about it, he's not a franchise pass rusher, he's an alright player who happens to stand out because he can get some sacks surrounded by a sea of shit.
