IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

From that point, the 2nd half was a wash because we became 1 dimensional, and they knew it, and we knew it, and there was nothing else we could do. Passing to catch up in that game was like trying to run a marathon with a torn hamstring.

Very strong passrush against terrible backup and mis-positioned players, compounded with elite coverage LB's and strong DB's flooding the secondary, and we were just ****ed.

Had we stalled a few of their drives, and kept the score closer, we could have had a chance. But it was insurmountable.
all true.

-Our guys ate Butterfingers before that game. It is what it is.
-Mahomes was the best player on the field.
-I'm glad Patrick got recognition on some level. He's truly the best.

Here's his Top 100 video.

This narrative about how to beat the Chiefs doesn’t exist without all the injuries on the OL last year. Without the injuries, chances are the Chiefs are repeat Super Bowl winners and the narrative is about the Chiefs being unbeatable. It exists now but is only relevant if the OL rebuild failed.

All the sideline comments from the Bucs players was great. They were winning handily and had the "GOAT" playing QB for them, and they were still nervous about the outcome, and in absolute AWE of Mahomes. It makes the loss a wee bit bearable.

Before Osaka and Biles, mental health effected the Super Bowl. A child was severely injured by a team member.

No lie, even if it did show the Bucs in awe of Mahomes and nervous what he is capable of doing down 20+.

497 yards rushing while evading pressure with a torn tendon in his toe. I'm still in awe of that.

"Have you ever seen anything like that before?"
"Hell, I ain't never HEARD of anything like that before."
