I could live with a loss if it wasn't yet again the refs taking a Chiefs scoring play off the board late in the game. The Steelers' interior offensive line was holding the whole game and did they get called once?

I would call it unbelievable, but it's not. It consistently happens where some teams get controversial calls at critical moments and other teams don't.

This team isn't going anywhere with AS as the QB that is for sure. Time to move on.
Probably not. But for as much grief as Smith deservedly gets, people also tend to overlook and overrate other aspects of the team. The defense is not going to be able to give up that yardage and be as successful next year. It's like stranding 95% of your inherited runners as a reliever. The offensive line is still average at best, at weak inside.

Chris Jones will get better, which will help the Chiefs defense. The linebackers, without an addition, likely won't.

The Steelers punted one time this entire game and the Chiefs had 230 yards of offense, had no D or ST TDs, and yet still needed a two-pointer to tie. But instead of looking at the dozen times the Chiefs threaded the needle to avoid complete disaster, you complain about the result of a clear hold, even though the drive itself is in doubt of ever scoring if Conley doesn't lower his head into the range of a killshot on a pass he was going to drop anyway.

The Chiefs were an average team that got incredibly lucky with D and ST TDs this year, got a miracle banked FG, and had flukish RZ defense. Stop complaining about the refs and start looking at how the team can get better players.
As painful as it is, Hamas is right on the money.

This team needs to continue to raise the level of talent within the organization, particularly on the offense.

Alex Smith is not the answer at QB, so there is no point at continuing with him....Scoring 16 points in a playoff game at home is simply not acceptable in today's NFL.

The whole offense stunk. The play calling stunk. The execution sucked. The QB sucked. The dropped passes sucked.

The defense between the 20's sucked. The third down defense sucked.

It is a miracle that this game was even close...and that is what makes it that much more upsetting.

This team was the Texans with really good special teams. If this game had been in Pittsburgh it would have been 48-16.

I agree but I am willing to cut the D some slack because one they had a ton of injuries on that side of the ball and two they play alot because our offense sucks.

We definitely need to get a couple of LB's and some depth in the secondary but we definitely need to get a stud RB if they are keeping AS.

Defense had some injuries, but more talent is needed. Need to be able to rush the passer.

Lots of needs, but lots of draft picks in the upcoming draft too. Going to need Dorsey to find some diamonds in the rough.

It's becoming more apparent that the league run by the guy who used to be in charge of marketing, pr, and advertising isn't interested in sport, just creating personalities and hyping them to fabricate a narrative.

I totally dismissed it earlier this week as a joke when a guy at work told me he was sorry because KC already lost.

I asked why, and no joke he said, the new Papa John commercials.

I'm like what?

He's like, yeah the new Papa John's commercials that have Steelers and Pats players in them. The league has spoken and they're promoting getting those guys more pr on TV.
Just watch, 1 way or another Pittsburgh is playing NE.

I just laughed. . .

Who did PJ commercials last year?
