The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

That's not even close to true. And you should've learned in 3rd ****ing grade that you don't use apostrophes with plurals.

Yea night and day. Spokane is cheap to me and I am from Montana lol. I don't plan on staying here though once I am done with school. Spokane perfectly describes the word "mediocre."

And you guys, eye ulcers are ****ing hell. And freezing cold showers.
Kurt, wtf is your eye ulcer like?

I wonder if it's the same thing I've been getting for years now. Every once in awhile I'll wake in the morning with the most searing pain in my right eye. It's so painful that often times I can't open it and constant watering. After a little bit further into the morning the intense pain stops and I can start to look through it again. Then it feels like I've got something in my eye. Now since the pain is gone, I can finally look in the mirror and it looks like the mucus membrane is all bunched up on the inside of my eye lid. It doesn't happen all the time and I can't pin down the cause. I don't wear contacts or glasses so that's not the cause.

Does this sound like what you have?

Yes, except mine might have been intensified and worsened by contact use. The first few days I literally had no control over my eye.

Well, then that's what I have is an ulcer. I've tried visine and other kinds of drops but just can't clear the thing up. Guess I'm going to have to suck it up and go to an ophthalmologist when it flares up again.

I'd rather watch paint peal on the wall rather than sit forever in a Dr's office. Work insurance doesn't pay for vision either, double screwed.

Yeah, I don't have vision covered either. Had to pay 350 out of pocket just to be looked at and the scripts cost me 150 + and I didn't fill all of them.

What kind of scripts did they give you? An antibiotic and assuming a steroid like prednisone or prednisolone?

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

That would be about right, chase. The antibiotic drops were more expensive than any of it though, hundred bucks for a tiny bottle of Vigamox.

And a narcotic for pain. The pain was crazy intense. Just a little while ago I couldn't even look at the computer screen until i medded up. Got homework to do and this eye is getting in my way.

Sounds like the same stuff they gave my grandmother when she fell and ruptured her eye. I wonder if she has some drops left, I can't afford a big Dr bill and insanely overpriced meds.
