Exactly. This performance is no different than any other time a backup QB, that you don't know what to expect, has a decent game against a bad defense.

I wouldn't expect anything less... said this would be the case if Brock played 'well', it wouldn't be him, but if somehow he looked bad - that would be all him.

Osweiler has been solid. Nothing crazy, just solid. Basically, what you want from a first time starter with their defense.

Bad defense and tailor-made playbook. Looks "efficient." Where have we heard that term before? Wasn't it in discussion of another gangly athletic QB with limited field awareness?

I expect him to continue to look "good" much like Nick Foles initially did when he took over for Vick under Chip Kelly.

Hope Horseface decides to give Assweiler a nice starting QB contract.

Brock played a pretty solid game. It was a game managers game plan and he followed suit.

but my God the Bears are bad. I'm still pissed that we lost to them.

That Demaryius Thomas TD was a gift. There wasn't anyone within 10 yards of the guy. How do you leave the only major threat Denver has on offense that wide open?

Also, all of Denver's defensive backs are bitch whiners. They commit blatant pass interference and then bitch about getting called on it.

Roby, Talib... they all do it.

And that's game. I would say good try, Bears, but your defense is the worst thing since the Chiefs of the early 2000s

It was a good first win for the young guy. He did some good things and did some bad things. He got a shit ton of help from his running game and defense while also being fortunate to get his first start against the worst defense in the league.

Next week will be a better test.

Chris Harris not happy with the penalty differential. He believes the Broncos are being unfairly targeted with some of these calls.

It's true. The Broncos get flagged for breathing on people. The Broncos were penalized 8 times for over 100 yards and the Bears never got flagged.

It took 4 first half INT's, a Talib suspension, no DeMarcus Ware, and a bye week to beat us. Had Brock started that game you would've lost.
