So... You believe he'd play if the division were on the line, which would be the difference between a home and away game on Wild Card weekend, but he shouldn't play to maintain the one seed and a bye and HFA?

Andy doesn’t seem to deviate from his ways too often. And that’s normally for the best.

I would be shocked if Mahomes voluntarily sat this one out.

If Mahomes doesn’t play, I’ll trust it’s the right call. If he does, I’ll also trust that.

We have zero clue whether or not he will be injured by the time they get there. We do know that NFL history is dominated by teams that got the first round bye.
