Cornell vs. Jayhawks
On right now....kind of. JTV wasn't satisfied with using a camera with a vaseline smeared lense, now they made the game completely unwatchable. Add to it Gurley and Armstrong.....ugh.

Not watching, but KU up 7-4.

Heh, that was the first thought that crossed my mind when I read his post. But I'm guessing he just meant that Cornell is not going to give KU that kind of game ever time. I tend to agree. I would guess that if KU met them in the tourney, KU would dispatch them a little earlier than tonight.

Cornell rebounded way better than anybody anticipated. Shot 50% from inside the three line too. Also they looked really prepared for KU's D and made some great passes that led to 18 assists. So it really wasn't a 'live/die/3 game so much.

They got killed at the line. Killed.

Yes, I do realize that. I also realize that KU shoots different types of 3s than Cornell. Cornell shot a lot of quick release deep arc screen 3s. KU tends to work it inside out and shoot much more open 3 pointers.

You're right - but that #20 was hitting some that I wouldn't have thought he would hit. Decently guarded 3's or quick shots. He started off something like 4-7 or 5-8 and then cooled off a bit.

KU obviously wasn't playing up to par tonight, but in the end, it's a win and I'll take it. Collins showed that he can take the team on his back and keep us in it - not sure that he'd have enough against a better opponent, but he sure as shit did tonight.
