Nobody except your dumbass would trade Rice for JuJu. How's he doing this year? Oh that's right he's barely even played

You are predictably too Reerunned to see that Rice as a rookie WR is being utilized in a far more limited way than JuJu was last year. Rice is almost exclusively being used on bubble screens… very little production in the downfield passing game. |

Every season, an NFL front office and coaching staff has to make decisions, and ALL of those decisions carry risk. It's a hard cap league, so dollars and draft picks are what you have to build a football team, and to win a championship, you need a lot of things to go right.
Almost nothing went right in 2023. This NFL championship thing is really difficult. It didn't work this year. I wouldn't bet against this franchise next year. Would you? I bet they get the ship righted. |

Calling this “the same WR room as last year” as if that’s some kind of seal that it was good to begin with is something….becoming more and more clear the WR room played WELL over their skis last season and Mahomes was in full God mode…

KC's chances of winning a SB without Mahomes being in god mode are slim.
Not completely zero, but with his cap hit they are slim.

I don't see how they don't tag Sneed at the least. They need to pay him. He's our best player on defense currently.
I'm so worried Veach will pay Bolton and not Sneed. Would be a massive mistake to do that

I love Sneed, don't get me wrong. but it depends on what you can get if you were to tag and trade. Jones is walking, that's almost certain. The defense will likely not be the same. But it can still be a GOOD defense, it just won't be a GREAT defense, most likely. So much work to do on the other side of the ball. |

Wasn't before but based on how the season has played out I lean towards keeping Sneed. It's a passing league and that's a real valuable skillset. Only way I move on is if we can acquire a #1 WR or pick high enough in the draft to grab one with that asset as the chip.

I would pay Sneed before Jones. As great as it is to have CJ95 wrecking the line, Sneed is a lockdown corner that we can put on an island against any WR. Also, Sneed is versatile.

I don't think giving $18 million of that to Sneed will deny us a chance of getting some talent at WR. This team needs to get at least 2 WR's and an athletic RB2 in FA. At least we won't be picking at 31 and closer to 25. That's gonna help a lot in getting a good player in this top heavy draft.

And don't be afraid to heap on the hyperbole!! We need pragmatic people like you to bring us down from our lofty throne of enjoying the best run in franchise history - put together by our GM who has failed spectacularly! |

Yeah a good ol' ass whooping by Buffalo at home is in order. Need Andy and Veach to feel the effects of their garbage choices this year. Also need this team to have fire again. Something to chase.
It also helps us greatly. Picking around 21-22 is way better than late 20's. They can get a legit blue chipper there. Zay Flowers and Trent McDuffie we're both drafted in that area.

Is there a way we can NOT have the highest paid right tackle in the league?

I think the worst thing about this team isn't the talent deficiency but they're stupid as **** and soft as baby shit.
