**** Verderame, you who hate the pick all sound like pussies bleeding as you walk about.

It’s seriously embarrassing.

Bitch all year about LT, then get mad when they draft the most talented guy at the position. At 32.

I really don’t care if they miss. The swing here to potentially cement LT for the rest of Mahomes’ career is so mother****ing worth it. How short are our memories?

The movement ability he was showing just five months post-op was nuts. Didn’t even look like he had been injured. And he’s got another five months to keep recovering and strengthening.

He made a great point that today needs to be a great day for Veach. Needs to get 3 guys to come in and make an immediate impact now
If they took Burden they "better be right" too, and no, that wouldn't be a sure thing either.

This pick was well worth the risk.

We possibly could get a very good LT on the cheap for 5ish years before we have to pay him. This one pick could solidify our weakest and most important position on offense for the next decade.

I don't believe there are too many sure fire prospects every year in the draft. Every pick is a gamble, some less than others. Everyone forgets how Andy handles rookie WR's in his scheme and thats a slow ramp up. Not likely Burden bursts onto the season much of his first season with the Chiefs had he been picked.

All intents and purposes you can quantify that sentiment for every pick to the 5th round

The risk there is that he's a diva WR or an immature guy with maturity issues.

Which is nearly every WR.

Not that he's physically unable to play the game.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

There are more questions for Burden on the field than Simmons.

He didn't just fall because of character issues. The raw talent is undeniable but he's very far from a sure thing. Some thing he might be a slot only guy, limited route tree, etc.

The only question with Simmons is health, and maybe maturity.

He’s very rational about the Chiefs which is why I like him. He pointed out a lot of the benefits as well as the risks.

Gonna be honest here: Matt Lane ****ing sucks. He’s absolutely unbearable to me. And he’s awful to listen to.

Matt Lane is all about Matt Lane. If he doesn’t like a guy we pick, he’ll torch the kid relentlessly. He did just that with Jaylon Moore a month ago when we signed him.

It’s still Nick Jacobs/Matt Derrick and Verderame for me. Kent Swanson is cool but Matt Lane’s ego and Craig Stout being a part timer has killed KCSN for me

KCSN got much worse when Craig Stout stepped back.

This is normally one of my favorite pods. And was a good listen to help my simmer down a bit. Was really unhappy last night. Still uneasy but we’ve got to trust in what we can’t see and they can. I dont see him being playable until the 2026 season if we’re being honest.

Yeah, Lane is the guy who is really makes those shows hard to stomach. I don't consume their shows when he is part of them.

I just wanted to add that Verdame was adamant about the Chiefs not taking a T (even said he'd put his rep on the line), so let's not pretend he's above being biased because he agrees with you.
