**#5 Isaiah Bond:** “Prototypical what you would think of in a wide receiver: just generic boilerplate, selfish, diva wide receiver,” said one scout. “But, God, he’s got an incredible skill set. He’s really fast and he’s athletic. He can win with speed, with quickness. His run after (the catch) is amazing. Great ball skills. You wish a guy with his skill set had a better overall body of work in terms of production. He’s first-round talent but combine character and production and whether he goes there I don’t know.”*
Welcome to Kansas City.

Here’s my question, why wasn’t he more productive if he’s that talented? |

I want Tuten so bad. That speed is what we need at rb. Also want burden at 31. Those two immensely help our offense. DT in round 2.

RunKC, thanks for paying and posting.
Lots of great nuggets from what he is reporting scouts are saying compared to the talking heads. Also, a lot more info on character and off field issues. It’ll be a fun draft with lots of variance on players. I’ve seen Lott the DT from Tenn on some top 5 position boards, here he is outside the top ten. Amos seems very low here as well. DT still seems like it will be the best value at 31.

How high was LSU’s WR Lacy projected before his car crash incident?

2nd round. It really sucks because I really wanted that kid to be a Chief. He's going to see serious prison time if he's guilty. Lacy was charged with negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run with death, and reckless operation of a vehicle

FWIW, Chris Simms just ranked OL and has his top OT’s:
1. Membou 2. Simmons 3.Ersery He feels Campbell, Banks and Conerly are guards at the NFL level. He doesn’t think Conerly has the anchor strength to play LT. He’s an elite athlete , good run blocking.

Thanks for posting runkc. Is this a good guard class? Seems like a lot of athletic and physical guards in that list. Seeing that list makes me want to trade Trey smith.

I’m surprised that Damien Martinez isn’t even mentioned in the rundown of the running backs.

Chris Simms is a terrible OL evaluator, historically. If a guy doesn't have anchor at T, he's not going to have it at G. That's not an indicator of why a guy should go to G.

That was my first thought as well, but I guess we did just see Thuney struggle with power at LT in a way he didn't at LG. |
