100% proof it was NEVER about the refs

Just look at the comments:

These mother****ers would've been crying endlessly if the tables were turned. I can't wait for Pat to eventually get his revenge for all this shit the last couple of days (and surely more to come).

Hypocrisy, and the recognition of it, requires one to think about the problem.

These people endlessly emote, they don't think. In their world, hypocrisy doesn't exist because there's no anchor point for their position. It's simply about how they feel at the time.

I’ve said this to others before, but this is actually a very scary mob-based sentiment that social media has cultivated and you can see the same thing in politics on both sides.

Basically that sentiment is: we are sick and tired of X thing happening so if anything like that continues to happen it’s rigged and we will use selective information to “prove” it. Truth doesn’t matter. Popular opinion does. It’s sensationalism at its finest and it’s dangerous.

I have no doubt in my mind this sentiment caused the reffing crew to throw a flag that led to the eagles first touchdown. Now think about that. Instead of the refs “fixing” games for the chiefs, what’s happening is public hysteria is causing them to fix games for the other teams due to societal pressure. It’s actually disguised hypocrisy. We are social animals and there is no way for such a strong and pervasive sentiment to not impact judgement. When the Patriots went on their run, social media was not as loud and violent as it is now. Not even close.

It’s really sad. And honestly, if this is the way it’s going to be, why even play the game? If we are just going to allow the people to decide who they want to see win. What’s the point? Like many other things, it’s the death of sports. It’s pageantry.

If the Eagles win or get to the next bowl, they'll enter Chiefs territory.

People already hate the eagles because their fans are subhuman. But they hate Taylor Swift even more somehow…cowards.

Said this a few weeks ago. The current state of football is just a microcosm of what's going on in the rest of society. We are already seeing fans suggest players should be deliberately injured. Sometimes in the next 10 years, we are going to see an assassination attempt on a big time sports figure because some crazy will decide the only way to stop the "rigging" is to kill it dead.

Social media is an absolute cancer and one of the most damaging “innovations” in human history.

Ya so sad. You just know too if the Chiefs have another successful playoff run in the next couple of years, all those feelings will resurface instantly like they never left. Even though they just saw clear proof of the otherwise.

It’s sad to think that history was somehow destroyed by an angry mob. But it wouldn’t be the first time.

"I loved that the Eagles destroyed the Chiefs, but is anyone else sick these days of that douchebag Sirianni and seeing Jalen Hurts on TV constantly? ENOUGH!"

"Ah, there it is -- another timely flag for the league's latest darlings. What a joke."

Eventually you'll get:

"At this rate, I'd rather have Mahomes and the Chiefs back."
