5. The Chiefs re-sign: WR Marquise Brown 1 year, $4m; DE Charles Omenihu 1 year, $8m.

6. The Chiefs re-sign to minimal deals: RB Samaje Perine, WR Justin Watson, WR Mecole Hardman, DT Mike Pennel, DE Malik Herring, P Matt Araiza

7. The Chiefs tender the following RFAs: LB Jack Cochrane, OG/C Mike Caliendo, CB Nazeeh Johnson

8. The Chiefs let walk: QB Carson Wentz, RB Kareem Hunt, WR DeAndre Hopkins, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, OT D.J. Humphries, OG Trey Smith, DT Tershawn Wharton, DT Derrick Nnadi, DT Marlon Tuipulotu, DE Joshua Uche, LB Nick Bolton, S Justin Reid, LS James Winchester

9. The Chiefs sign the following free agents: QB Zach Wilson (Broncos), OT Cam Robinson (Vikings), DT Javon Kinlaw (Jets)

3. S Billy Bowman, Jr., Oklahoma
4. OG Connor Colby, Iowa
7 (Hardman). S Craig Woodson, California
7 (compensatory). DT Jahvaree Ritzie, North Carolina

The roster:

QB: Mahomes, Wilson
RB: Pacheco, Johnson, Perine, Steele

WR: Rice, Worthy, Brown, Watson, Hardman, Remigio

Andy Reid doesn't really need a 'bell-cow' back.

What's the point? You can keep Hunt around for the tough yards for cheap.

If you're going to draft a guy, especially high-get a polished runner/receiver back that can be a big play machine.

I saw a post in the lounge around Mahomes 3rd phase in KC, the first being high flying offense, the second being a more tactical dink and dunk offense, and asking what the 3rd should be… I wonder if we shouldn’t pair Pat with a high caliber RB to take the pressure off him.

Not sure it's THAT bad and I may have been harsh because this part is pretty ****ing good:

2. RB Kaleb Johnson, Iowa
3 (Sneed). LB Barrett Carter, Clemson
3. S Billy Bowman, Jr., Oklahoma
4. OG Connor Colby, Iowa
7 (Hardman). S Craig Woodson, California
7 (compensatory). DT Jahvaree Ritzie, North Carolina

Changing pick 1 and a little FA, I think he's onto something

Harold Fannin Jr. in the 1st is so bad that it ruins the entire thing. I'm good with Kaleb at 63. Seems a little early for Carter, but don't hate it.
