He looked really good returning kicks late last year. The drops are concerning but the whole offense fell off.

I don't think it makes sense for us as long as Rice will be back and healthy. It's 1 season of non guaranteed money tho. We use Rice for a lot of those types of routes

He's a nice piece if you have the requisite skill players around him. But he's not a very good route runner, doesn't have much in the release dept., so without Aiyuk to occupy the corners/safeties, plus kittle/CMC to hold the attention of the LBs/Ss, he can't create enough separation by himself to be a primary target. Plus, he can only play out of the slot; not effective outside except as a screen target.

I don't think he's washed but I wouldnt' want to trade for him.

He was a 1400 yard receiver when he had a 120 targets. He's had about 80 per season since while Aiyuk's targets have been over 100. So, yeah, he's not getting the same volume needed to get 75-80 receptions and 1000+ yards. I think he's still capable, he just needs that type of situation. He sure as hell won't get it here.
