Guess my location

I'm going on one of my occasional walkabouts. Over the next two months, I'll post a dozen or so photos of my location. First one to guess my location correctly wins nothing but a little satisfaction with wasting their time on this thread. I'll generally point at the item of interest so you know it's me and not an imposter.

If I get kidnapped by natives or jungle rebels or aliens, please write to your congressperson to get me released.

Have you ever seen that geoguesser, Rainbolt? That dude is amazing; show him any random picture, and he will find it on a map of the world.

A couple of Christmases ago, we flew to Miami and drove to Key West just to try driving The Keys once. We figured we would check out Miami for a day or two and then head to our destination after that. We figured we wouldn't care all the much for Miami and thought we would love Key West. Exactly the opposite. The beaches in Miami were excellent and Key West is basically just a party town. They have basically one really crappy beach.

We were really pissed when the very expensive resort we booked for two nights over Christmas had failed to mention that their heated pool was busted. The entire reason we paid the money we did was so we could relax over Christmas and have a nice heated pool to swim in. We don't treat ourselves too often and that was a huge splurge. Was not amused.

I have to say, I'm kind of in love with Miami Beach. The weather is beautiful and the architecture is great and this is the most cleavage I've seen in years.
Dang it. I was going to guess 'On the set of the next Bay Watch' movie and you'd snagged a part. Oh well.

Probably true, but my winters and summers were both in St. Louis. Relentlessly hot and humid probably beats relentlessly St. Louis.

Miami is awesome.

Those Atlantic side beaches are generally shitty (Daytona, Cocoa, etc.) but once you get to Miami area they get much better. Sand is cleaner, water is clearer.

Funny thing is, I would never have guessed SoFlo. Those types of lifeguard boxes aren’t typical of Florida beaches. The pic was giving me Cali vibes.
