Another Stoooopid Rumor...

I work with a woman whose husband is a rabid Eagles fan. He's convinced there's a blockbuster trade brewing with the Chiefs. I've searched the web & found nothing to confim it. Anyone hear or read anything to confirm this? All I can substantiate is that the Iggles want to trade up for a tackle and they want an additional RB to spell Westbrook (LJ has been mentioned in some blogs). Seems pretty thin to me. BTW, did Pioli's Denver doctor get that tumor off his spine yet?

I'm rooting for a deal like this.

I do not like the #3 overall pick in this year's draft, considering the position we put ourselves in by trading for Cassel

It'd hold a lot more value to a team that wants a top OT. This may be a draft day deal. If Monroe and Smith are gone, the Eagles wouldn't trade for Stafford. They have Kolb.

What does Penn St. have to do with LJ's education? Or any football players respective school for that matter. What did LJ major in? Gym class?

LOL at people thinking Penn St. is a tough college. Check out what colleges have the most truman and goldwater schollys. That is usually a pretty solid barometer.

You've obviously never thought of applying there.

They only accept about a third of applicants and this is their 25%-75% on ACT's:
Penn State 26-30
so 25% of their students had a 31 or better on the ACT, that's a lot.
Not huge numbers, but tough enough to weed out a lot of people. I don't know how they decide if football players' academics were good enough.

Depends on how you look at it. If Pioli wants to win now, he tries to hang onto Cassel. However, if he feels the West is weak enough, and the right rookie QB could handle our O, then maybe we trade Cassel to the highest bidder, and take a QB at #3.

I would have to guess that our phone would explode on draft day as soon as we drafted a QB at #3.
