Favorite all time arcade games - Page 2

The NES games thread the other day got me thinking. What are your top 5 all time arcade games? For those younguns, those are the games where you would have to put in a quarter (or more sometimes) to play a game.

My list goes something like this:

1.Tron
2.Donkey Kong
3.Bosconian
4.Pac Man
5.Gauntlet

I had a video game route in the 80's. I had more than 100 games located in convenience stores. My biggest earners were Ms. Pac, Defender, Galaga and Donkey Kong. I got all of you little basserts' money.

I once spent $60 at the arcade. Mainly on Gauntlet.

Front Line (alltime greatest), galaga, tempest and atari 2 player football(the one with the x's and o's where you rolled the trackball as feverishly as possible)..

ooops almost forgot another fave is Qix, i could play that game forever.

We would have parents drop their kid off at the store with a roll of quarters. We were a cheap babysitter.

5. Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter II
6. NFL Blitz

9. Turtles In Time (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game)
10. X-Men (the 4 player arcade game)

Yeah, my favorite as well. I think I still have deadspots on my hands from playing that. My best friend & I used to play at an arcade for hours on end. Damn, I was good too.
