RIP Skip, you have been missed around here for quite a while.
I will never forget the fun we had discussing the Jayhawks/Shockers, Wichita vs. Tulsa. I will just say we were not in total agreement. I am confident he passed as a happy man with the Chief's Super Bowls and Jayhawk's national championship. |

Damn, that sucks. I know Skip was a crotchety old man but he could be fun. And he was a fellow Chiefs and Jayhawks fan.
I do remember that he worked for Directv as an installer, I believe. At the time, I had Dish and I remember he used to always refer to it as Dish Notwork. Derp! A few years later, I ended up going with Directv. Now that I have tried both and for multiple years I can honestly say that they are about the same. The only thing Dtv had over Dish was Sunday Ticket but I really didn't care about that. I ditched Dtv about 5 years ago and have been happy with streaming ever since. But I wish I could have had a conversation with him about how they really are both the same shitty company. Also, Skip was always the guy to greet new members with "shut up, n00b!" I mean, how can you not love that?
