We owe Wanya Morris an apology
Didn’t realize just how bad it could be without him and boy was it bad.

Say what you want but the kid is a functional LT that is getting better. It’s hard finding average LT’s but I’d say he’s pretty damn close to average and that’s okay.

He’s the same caliber as Donovan Smith to me but he’s young and not falling apart.

Say what you want guys….getting a functional starting LT that is steady and not a bust at the end of rd 3 is an A+ draft pick.

Believe the hit rate in rd 3 is roughly 15% so getting this type of value is a big value to us.

Yeah, Donovan Smith was pretty ****ing bad last year. But our offense still could function. Morris has completely shut it down once and damn near did it a second time last week against the Raiders. Suamataia not even being a replacement level player currently doesn't absolve Morris from his sucking slightly less. He's still a pretty rotten starter and a serviceable backup.

Finding a quality OT after the draft would've been near impossible. Finding one better than the duo we currently have protecting Mahomes blindside is a different story.

Yep. Pretty unfortunate that Suamataia looks like this but it'd be organizational malfeasance to go into 2025 with him pencilled in as anything more than a WIP at best. LT needs to be the top priority, and that may unfortunately cost us other components of the roster.

Denver has statistically the best DL in football. On pace for 60 sacks and per PFF has the most pressures of any team.

Wanya was okay again that yesterday.

I think a lot of people here don’t watch the other 31 teams bc LT is the closest thing to QB. 3-5 elite one’s, 3or 4 more really good ones and the rest are average at best. LT is really bad across the league.

But Wanya is playable and he hasn’t nuked games against anyone not named the Raiders.

Yeah having all pro guards doesn’t net us much. Our run game isn’t that amazing. And it doesn’t do a ton for passing game.
