Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Except for the '76 Steelers being ravaged by injury, how did you figure this all out after 2 games and a 2-0 start? Were you counting phantom losses into the equation?

Chiefs are good but not too good.

Maybe too good this weekend?

Time will tell.

Can you feel it?

The Chiefs are not supposed to be 3-0. There will be energy in the building this week.

The Chiefs are not supposed to be 3-0. They were supposed to split the first two games. Age and the inevitable decline of greatness had to have set in by now. Hollywood Brown broke his dick and then Pacheco followed suit.

The Chiefs are not supposed to be 3-0. They've somehow come within a toe, a fortuitous pass interference call and a 4th and inches from being 0-3.

But here we are. On the very same incline the team that had the best chance to threepeat ever reached before us.

Now they face a team that has been destroyed by injuries and 4-0 would almost assuredly have them on a path for the one seed. The feeling we feel tonight will only grow with another win.

Can you feel it?

The Chiefs are not supposed to be 3-0.

The Chiefs have been favored in every game this season. You can’t really try to lean into the underdog role while you’re on the precipice of a dynasty level that’s never been reached in this league.

We’re supposed to be 3-0…in back to back to back Super Bowls is the main goal, though.

It's a nice bonus to follow the 1999 Broncos dumpster fire of a season in this thread.

An undefeated 3-peat would really put Mahomes over the top.

The #Chiefs move to 4-0, joining the 1990 49ers as one of only two teams to start 4-0 after winning back to back Super Bowls.
