I’ll be rooting for Houston next week.
Some people thought Houston was good last year despite getting destroyed by Baltimore twice and not scoring an offensive touchdown in either game.

I’m not sure what anyone has seen this year to be impressed by. 3 close wins against likely bad teams and a blowout loss to Minnesota?

So what AFC teams are actually in contention for the 1 seed?

I think we can safely remove these (barring something really crazy happening):
-the rest of the AFC West (seems really unlikely that any would win the division)
-Browns
-Titans
-Jags
-Dolphins
-Patriots

We can probably eliminate:
-Colts (bad QB situation)
-Bengals (3 losses already)

That leaves:
-Chiefs (undefeated, but injuries)
-Buffalo (can they beat good teams too?)
-Jets (offense looks really really bad at times, Rodgers may not last)
-Steelers (great defense but Fields limits the team)
-Ravens (will Lamar/Henry last?)
-Texans (were well behind the Ravens last year and haven’t impressed this year)

It's just us, Buffalo and Houston.

The Ravens would have to go on an absolute tear to play three games better than us the rest of the year.

Baltimore was 3-2 after 5 games last year. They won 10 of the next 11 games and had the #1 seed locked up before their 17th game.

Baltimore was also 2-2 after 4 games in 2019. They won 14 in a row to finish the regular season at 14-2 with the #1 seed.

Their division is a lot better this season.

You rooting for Cincy next week? I'm kind of thinking we want them knocked out entirely.

Baltimore needs to take an L here.

This is likely the toughest game they'll play in the division all year.

3-1is all that matters. They've got a QB. That is what separates them.
