I would maybe do 5% in crypto and 95% in strong companies like the S&P 500.

The $29K could easily have the best ROI.

That’s the conservative way to go but I want something that can turn $429,000 into $5-10 million.

"Why does the water level drop before the tsunami hits? Because it is like a tide, the tide goes out before it comes in. Traditionally we used to call these features ‘tide waves’ because they behave like a tide. The water particles haven’t traveled from the epicenter of the earthquake, they have oscillated back and forth and the tidal flow does just the same. As the tsunami approaches water is drawn back from the beach to effectively help feed the wave. In a tide the wave is so long that this happens slowly, over a few hours. In a short small ‘wind wave’ we see it happening every few seconds as we dodge waves on the beach. A tsunami is short enough to have a rapid effect, in minutes, but long enough to carry enormous energy."

Let me get this straight, you are coming from CD's to Crypto?

That is one complete change in investment strategy. Kudos...if that is your goal then crypto is for you. If you don't mind letting it go way down and way up every so often. No guarantees, though.

You know...since you've been waffling on this, you missed out on an easy opportunity to turn that $429K into that $5-10M....if you had gone all in at $31K yesterday at a 100x leverage (that some crypto exchanges allow) you could of cashed out today at over $8M.....

What are the downsides to 100x leverage trading and which is the most secure exchange amongst those that offer it?

True. It’s too volatile for weak hands.

Way down = 80% loss from top (would you be able to stomach seeing that $429k turn into 85k before it goes up to 5 million?)

Way up = 1000%+
