*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That's from Inside the NFL on Showtime. It may be available via other means, but it's for sure there as well.

I'm hoping they have a similar grudge against Buffalo. Short week on the road is tough for any team. Buffalo went out of their way to not draft Mahomes and then drafted a worse version of him the following year. Hopefully the team will be pretty fired up to prove a point about Josh Allen when the time comes.

At this point he's so awesome I'm worried because the Star League is going recruit Patrick Mahomes to defend the frontier against Xur and the Kodan Armada.

Annnnnnnnd now I need to do "The Last Starballer" in which Patrick uses The Death Blossom on Bill Belichick or something.

These are the types of plays fans point to when they want to downplay how good Mahomes is by saying he just throws to wide open receivers. But this play only goes to a wide open receiver because of how good Mahomes is.

Exactly right. It's OK though. Joe Montana had those critics out there who tried to pretend he was completely replaceable. Just keep winning.

I honestly thought that as well when watching him and said that in the game thread. He is just making it look easy.

It’s crazy. Some teams have to use trick plays or throw to tight ends. We do it simply because we want to and have no concerns of running out of unique plays and formations due to a Mahomes having absolutely no limitations.

People who say that are jealous fans of other teams who ignore the amazing plays Mahomes makes all the time. For instance, the two point conversion to Hardman against the chargers is a play that only Mahomes can make.

Man, I saw so many wide open shots on Sunday that simply weren't made because of the QB. Being open is just 1/2 of it, if that.
