Hollywood Brown is expected to practice this week

Said he is most likely to play on Xmas but they are trying to target the Texans game. Depends on if he’s ready

I wouldn't go as far as saying Veach is doing a bad job. But I am starting to value great running backs more these days. I for one would absolutely love it if they traded up in the 1st round to grab Jeanty. A badass running back, that's elite would elevate the offense. I like Pacheco and Hunt, but I'm talking a hall of fame level back. Look what Barkley is doing for the Eagles

If they trade up that high it’s going to be for a LT or elite edge.

My bad. Thought we could discuss things on here.

Veach doesn't make any bad draft picks. Andy doesn't make any bad playcalls. Patrick doesn't throw any bad passes.

You happy now?

Ew. That's going to far the other way. There are plenty of good RBs to be had in later rounds.

Weird, unlucky injury history this year for Hollywood. Seems healed up.

“He was doing great in rehab, he had no pain and we were discussing return-to-play opportunities,” Rick Burkholder, the Chiefs’ vice president of sports medicine and performance, said of Brown in September. “But we had one last check, another image to do four weeks from the injury with an MRI and it looked like the bone had moved.”

“In the modern NFL, Brown’s circumstances were so rare that no player in the league in the past decade needed such a surgery. After the Chiefs consulted several specialists, Brown had his surgery done in Vail, Colo., by surgeon Peter Millett, who had performed the procedure on professional skiers.

Do you think their offense is any better than 2022 though?

I haven't watched them much, but the run first strategy only seems to get you so far in the playoffs (even if that's a SB loss to the Chiefs, like the 49ers).

It’s not that you need to spend a lot of resources to get elite production at rb

There’s always guys like Joe Mixon available etc

Too bad Josh Jacobs was for some reason loyal to his Raider Chiefs hate when he chose a new team. Veach was interested in him. He'd be great here.

Perine has been really good here lately. I know I’ve said how much I missed McKinnon. This guy has been a really good McKinnon replacement of late and it’s a big part of the offense being better.

I still want us to draft a young stud RB but I’d try to bring Kareem and Perine back while adding. Maybe that means Kareem or Perine are on the PS but hopefully it means Alligator Boy goes to there instead.

McKinnon had a real nice stretch of games to close out that season but more than anything, it was his performance in the playoffs that mattered. Remember Damien Williams? For some reason, these backs that catch the ball always seem to breakout right before the playoffs start.

We hadn’t had this type of explosiveness to go with Worthy since Rice was playing in early September. It changes everything

He's basically just running the routes that Rashee would run, is what it looks like to me.

Freakin' awesome. And he did a good job protecting his chest.
