Bell and McCoy in the same backfield could be entertaining... the only problem I see is that when we had a shot at him in the offseason we didn't get him because the money was too high, why are we trying to absorb that contract now?

Well, Chiefs would be paying 1.3M this year and 13.5 Next. After that, you can cut him as his contract is only guaranteed for injury.

So the question is, how much is Laveon Bell, for 1.5 seasons @ $15M total worth to the Chiefs?

The Jets would only be trading him for cap relief, to which i say if we're doing you a favor then the trade compensation better be nill.

Well unless those things magically fall from the sky the players we have will just need to get better.

Again, we'd really only be married to Bell for 1.5 seasons. Possibly the most important 1.5 seasons in Mahomes' young career.

We don’t really have an offensive line conducive to a patient running style. I’m not sure if Bell will be as good as we’d expect him to be if we’re interested in trading for him

I would normally shit all over this idea, but it would help.

Ball control will take some pressure off the defense. Playoff football is completely different than the regular season.

Besides, we might get the ref treatment the Steelers got. Our linemen could hold all day to open holes for Bell.

I'll re-state. If he comes at a bargain bin price then... so be it. It is never a bad thing to look at improving your team for next to nothing.

If we have to give us something we could have used to grab a Trent Williams or Darius Slay... then I am 100% against it.

I would believe Bell would be a screen threat more than anything and allow us to have a two starter rotation instead of putting three RB's out there to do the job that one could do.
