The 10pm thread (archived)

The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...om.html?sort=2 see for yourself, it is ten o'clock somewhere.

GAME-WINNING DRIVES BY WILD-CARD QBS

I'm sure no one is surprised Tom Brady has the second most game-winning drives. But what's impressive is he has more than twice as many playoff game-winning drives as all the other wild-card quarterbacks combined!
Name Team Game-winning
drives Playoff
game winners Peyton Manning IND 28 0 Trent Green/Damon Huard KC 19 0 Chad Pennington NYJ 9 1 Tom Brady NE 24 5 Eli Manning NYG 4 0 Jeff Garcia PHI 13 1 Matt Hasselbeck SEA 15 0 Tony Romo DAL 2 0

FINAL NOTES

1. Quarterbacks in their first playoff games -- Tony Romo this season -- are 11-14 since 2000.
2. Tom Brady has never lost a playoff game at home (5-0).
3. Chad Pennington has taken the fewest deep shots (throws over 30 yards) in the NFL this season.
4. The Eagles quarterbacks --- Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia -- have taken the most deep shots with 38.
5. Forget the season-long stats about the Eagles defense. In the last five weeks, it only allowed 17.8 points per game.
6. The Colts scored 30 points per game at home and the Chiefs averaged 15 points on the road.
7. The Colts defense was last in the NFL against the run, but gave up only 18.5 points per game at home.
8. Lofa Tatupu and Julian Peterson have combined for 68 tackles on plays of 2 yards or fewer this season.
9. While Dallas was going 1-3 in its last four games, it gave up 33 points per game.
10. While Seattle was going 1-3 in its last four games, it scored 19 points a game.

Sh*t, like I needed another reason to hate Tom Brady.....

BTW, the board is goin to hell, and it's after 12, coincedence???? Probably... Or probably not, depends on what YOU think.

I think it is time to go to bed. I drank almost a fifth of crown over the last couple of hours, and I need some rest before the game. So to make it offical, GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have I mentioned I love this game, this planet, the playoffs and the chiefs. well now I have.
