Let's talk about the Miami Dolphins
Here is my $500,000 question on this game.

Will Spags and Co play it straight and keep their powder dry for the playoffs?

Last season the Chiefs defense (and maybe Andy, don't recall) kept things very vanilla when they went to Cincy.

They lost that battle, but won the war, because the defensive wrinkles Spags wanted to use against the Bengals were unveiled in the AFC Championship and held their offense at bay just enough for gimpy Mahomes to drag us over the finish line late.

Will Spags come into this game guns blazing and try to take out the Dolphins early this season? OR will he keep his cards hidden for the real season?

It will be Watson this game. Not sure when Edwards rotates in but it might be for Cook in obvious passing situations.

Most people will say that you have to attack most quarterbacks by winning off of the edge. However, Tagovailoa is more susceptible to extra pressure that is coming from the middle or the interior. Chris Jones will be even more vital to Kansas City against this Dolphins offense for that reason. Elsewhere, Steve Spagnuolo has never been shy about bringing extra pressure from the second or third levels of the defense. Will he look to do that by shooting through the A or B gaps?

I think our D matches up very well against their passing offense but i do slightly worry about getting shredded by their running game, especially w/out bolton

I didn't particularly care for McDaniels before I knew he was from the ShanaRat coaching tree. I though he purposely put Tua in harms way after he knew he was concussed. Now I think I despise him.

I'm not sure what the Chiefs are going to do to slow down Miami; you can scheme a lot of things however their two main WRs have something you just can't coach or teach. Serious speed and ability to track the ball. The later part is something our WRs seem to lack.

Agree. May have caught a break if Waddle is not at 100%. Despite his full practice, back issues can be tricky & tend to linger. Really hoping the Chiefs figure out the red zone this week and score early/often.
