****OFFICIAL Raiders vs Chiefs Christmas Day Game Thread****

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas Day and Chiefs football is under the Kingdom’s tree, with the stocking stuffer of hosting our oldest rival - the filthy, degenerate, vagabond Raiders! And one of the traditional ways of celebrating this beloved holiday is through music, so grab yourself a glass of eggnog, a bottle of Boulevard Nutcracker Ale or whatever your preferred cup of Christmas cheer may be and lets go a caroling with a few of these spirited Christmas and Game Day mashups!

The first touchdown the Raiders did cry
They knew it would not be the last in the turf as they lay,
In the turf where they lay,
Broken and bruised
On a wet Christmas day
That was so sweet
Victory, victory, victory, victory!
The Chiefs are gonna’ roll today!

.....

Super Bowls, Super Bowls
Super all the way
Oh, what fun it'll be to win
the Lombardi on the raiders' home field, hey
Super Bowls, Super Bowls
Super all the way
Oh, what fun it'll be to win
The Lombardi on the raiders' home field!

.....

On the twelfth day of Chiefsmas,
the Kingdom sent to me
Twelve hundred commercials,
Eleven cheerleaders cheering,
Ten yella flags a-flying,
Nine Rice receptions,
Eight plays of twenty,
Seven threads on rigging,
Six no look passes,
Five gameday thread bans,
Four BigMac sacks,
Three Raiders’ turnovers,
Two Kelce touchdowns,
And a cheeseburger for Andy

.....

Here comes Big Red
Here comes Big Red
Right down Arrowhead Drive
Patrick and Kelce and all his team, playin' on the field
Fans are screamin', defense hittin', all is merry and Gay
So wear your red and gold and set up the buffet
'Cause Big Red comes today

.....

Have yourself a merry little Chiefsmas
Let your cheers be loud
Next year all our troubles, will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Chiefsmas
Make the tailgate gay
Next year all our troubles, will be miles away

Once again, as in olden days
Happy red and golden days of yore
Faithful fans who are dear to us
Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be celebrating,
A Super Bowl win
Until then, we'll have to settle for a Raider beatdown
So have yourself a merry little Chiefsmas now

.....

Merry Christmas ChiefsPlanet!

Go Chiefs!

**** the Raiders!

One thing is certain though, Antonio Pierce has his team willing to run through walls for him. He is a motivator and they have bought in as of now. Most "cheerleading" coaches fizzle after some time and/or when things get tough but maybe if AP surrounds himself with a solid staff, who knows? If he is retained, I wonder if he keeps the defense as is but wonder where he goes with the offensive staff and the QB spot. Aiden is a 4th round rookie QB and often plays like one so the QB room does need upgrading.

This is the first time in decades that the Raiders defense looks hungry and angry and shows some swag.
yep, the other idiot teams in our division are truly making theirselves better now. Free ride over.

They did have a ton of energy, I'll give them that. It certainly helps when the resistance at times is literally side-stepping a lineman on the way to Mahomes, but they seemed to be sniffing out plays all over the place... even plays they don't run all that often.

Reminded me a bit of the Chiefs effort against the Eagles.

It's what you wish you'd watch all season from every team, that level of energy. Not either offense, obviously.

First glance I would agree however he was asked about that immediately and he pointed out there was another fan trying to take it away from the kid so he kept the ball. Watch it again and you will see it clearly.

They were playing the run and the short stuff , no deep throw , maybe the wind was issue I thought it was pretty windy shift was flying across the field and when we did run deep the concepts seemed like a mess and I only remember mvs being open mid range and pat went to the underneath guy .

Plus our WRs can barely catch the ball when it's sunny and dry.
