A week off isn't going to remedy that. He needs an entire offseason and to go into camp with a for once stable line to start fixing those issues.

Again, it's a false narrative. There are many possibilities that don't include him aggravating the injury.

It's not a foregone conclusion even though you keep trying to paint it as such.

Resting the entire team might help them overcome what is failing Mahomes, especially the defense.
