Again, some of them were injured (Butt and Cravens for example) and some of them were behind talented players like Talib. CJ Anderson was a salary purge, along with a very deep draft at the RB position.

No, it wasn't. And Eltard tried like hell to land Cousins, you can 100% believe THAT. He knew the FA market was shit but alas, there simply weren't enough dollars in dung valley to convince Cousins that getting paid was worth more than going to a competitive team.

There is NOTHING Eltard can do( save killing himself )that will make your franchise resemble ANYTHING close to what you had just a few short years ago.
Nothing.
He's absolutely terrible at his job, his hand picked coach makes Bob Sutton look like Wade Phillips, and your donkey brethren at the Mange are quite correct in predicting single digit wins for the donkey 2018 season.

Personally, it would be nice if your team could offer up some valid competition, but I suppose I can get by with an absolute humiliation of your team and franchise 2 times a year, yes.
