He must not like the position he's in if he can't get Darnold or Allen. Probably doesn't care for Rosen or Mayfield.

I think they knew that he was a big kid who had to grow up, but nobody can deny that Lynch has a ton of talent. I think Elway trusted that Kubiak could get the best out of him and so he took a shot. I also think Elway learned a lot from Lynch and the next guy he takes high is going to work out.

Didn't you get the news, bro? Elway wants to trade down. None of the QBs he thinks he has a chance at tickle his fancy.

You're as bad (when it comes to Elway) as Tribal Warfare is around here when it comes to knowing the thinking going on in KC.

Also, Lynch doesn't have a done of talent. KC said jump and Elway said, "how high?"

Elway openly saying the team is open for trading the day after the league thinks Baker is going to be a Jet.

That’s no coincidence

Or maybe it is total misinformation. If they acknowledge they are locked into taking a QB and the QB's go 1,2 and 3 then they are at the Browns mercy. The Browns have been sending some of their own out like maybe we will take 2 QB's or trade down. If the Browns know Denver is locked in on a QB, Dorsey has to try and get a pick or two from the Broncos to go from 4 to 5 by pretending there could be a Buffalo or Miami trade. Denver has to be in a position to call the Brown Bluff if needed.

He learned a lot from Lynch? What the hell does that mean?

Lynch didn't work out, but that doesn't exactly give you any information on how to identify good future QBs in the draft.

They've been saying for a while now that anything was possible at 5, even a trade... dunno why that's news today.
