He was the best QB in the NFL last year and is this year as well so far. Period.

He has already beaten our hated rivals - Donks 3 Times (twice on the Road) Faders 3 Times ( twice on the road) and the Ravens twice- plus knocked the Colts out of the Playoffs (with Luck) and took us to the AFC Championship for the first time at Arrowhead. All in 20 Games!

So when you say he has not done anything- it disingenuous at best.
I agree with every word above.

However, if he flames out this season, the most one could say is that Pat Mahomes delivered the single greatest QB performance over 20 or so games in NFL history, besides Dan Marino's in 1984.

You say that like it's not an incredible accomplishment. The guy has been the best player in football his first two seasons, took his team to inches of the Superbowl his first year as a starter and only failed because of his shit show defense.

Oh and he's a human highlight reel making incredible plays that blow the minds of anyone familiar with football. Even if he never played another season he would not be forgotten.

The guy has been in the league for 3 years, obviously he doesn't have the longevity to compare careers with the greats, but the idea that he hasn't accomplished anything is farcical.

Your posts here are really coming down to "rings rings rings," which is an incredibly stupid standard.
First of all, if you read my posts carefully, you'll note that I didn't say that it was all about rings. That a career's worth of accomplishments could stand as nearly the same thing.

But as I said before, it is an incredible accomplishment. And no one is more proud and admiring than I am. Period. Okay, except for his parents.

But in 20 years, maybe even sooner, it would some of its luster if that was his only accomplishment(s). People (probably) would begin to question just how incredible his performances really were.

To cement his legacy, for any player to cement their legacy, they have to show that it wasn't a fluke. They have to continue to perform at or very near that level. That's what greatness is all about.

It’s hilarious how confused the defense is throughout this entire play. They just have no idea what to do. I’m also sure we have some other awesome play off of this exact formation and motion that will go for a long TD.

Looks like Mahomes could have scrambled for almost as many yards there. Maybe a wrinkle is to run if the safety is closer to Kelce or start to run to get the safety to think it’s a scramble and loft it over his head for Kelce? I agree, it seems like fertile ground for lots of mind games for Mahomes and Reid to play with the defense.
