***OFFICIAL Chiefs vs Chargers Game Day Thread***

At long last, an incomparable and unparalleled day is upon us, Planeteers.

The Patrick Mahomes II Era begins with this game. May the Bolts fizzle and sputter as expected and may the New Chiefs begin their rise to greatness in dramatic fashion.

In lieu of a bunch of secret spoiler deals, I have composed a brief poetism in honor of the occasion. May it meet with your approval. Ahem ...

There once was a kid named Mahomes
Who had truly unique chromosomes
The Bolts were aghast
When the Chiefs scored so fast
And Mahomes incapacitated their ohms

There you have it, Planeteers. Go Chiefs!

(Sorry if re-post.)

lol the Defense is so soft, it hurts man. That will be our demise this season if anything. Hopefully once we get Eric Berry out there again it helps but idk, Ron Parker looked really good today tho.

He dropped a perfect throw. Based on your logic in asking why should Kelce try hard, why should Mahomes ever trust him now? Catch the freaking ball.

This game really showed that big plays matter.

The offense wasn't that good from play to play. Kareem didn't even average 4 YPC. Kelce and Watkins did shit.

But two huge ****ing plays to Tyreek and Sherman, plus that turnover, made all the difference.

We don't get those two plays with Alex, period. One is a sack, the other one is, ****, who ****ing knows, a pants-shitting abortion probably.

BIG PLAYS ****ING MATTER.

There's going to be plenty of passes to catch and TDs to score. Kelce can decide for himself if he wants to be a part of it.

Rivers is gonna make some throws.

We know to get on top of the them early and keep it close because they always **** it up for themselves in the end.

No one here was more negative in preseason than me about this defense, and nothing has changed, but if you're being a negative nelly right now you have NO CLUE how the NFL currently works.

Mahomes playing like that is everything we hoped. We knew the D was bad, but we couldn't be 100% sure about Mahomes. But the offense is legit and we will be in EVERY SINGLE GAME WE PLAY - all because of that.

Would you rather be us or the Jags going forward? If you say the Jags, you're truly just a dumb mother****er.

Garbage time lasted 2 quarters this outing.

Let's tell Scanlon to scram, though.

Oh ... and Fuller needs to learn how to stay on his feets.
