Already up $68. I'm not brave enough to hold it long term but until SNL, sure!

I’m not worried about Bitcoin, it’s beyond established and I’ve been in the space for years. It’s the suggestions to buy bullshit like doge, etc, and xrp that is moronic.

Hold my Beer!

Going to make the ethereum/dogecoin/?? plunge today!

How do I start?

What are the best practices?

What should I do and not do?

Keep in an online wallet or a hard wallet or under my mattress?

Thanks!

Honestly with both being at or near all-time highs I would wait for a pullback, you want to buy-in as low as possible. Of course there's no way of knowing if/when this will happen so it is a risk either way. Bitcoin is at $56k right now, which is about $9k less than its high...if I was going to put more money into anything it'd be that. I'm sure others will disagree.

Also the hard wallet is the safest but holding your money in big, reputable exchanges like Coinbase is not nearly as risky as some would have you believe.

I feel so dirty!

Just signed up with Coinbase and invested $50 Ethereum...enough for today. Will read more tonight and learn before the investment numbers get bigger, say $2K.

Already, looking at a used Cirrus SR22T to purchase with the investment proceeds from today's investment.
