You guys are taking what was essentially a glorified preseason game and acting like it was a sign of things to come. That game meant nothing to Denver and their starters barely played.

I like a lot about Mahomes, and the early games will be more fun to watch this year than they were during the Alex Smith era, but he hasn't proven anything yet.

So playing a hated division rival that currently has a long winning streak against you-at home- now means nothing?

It might have meant nothing to you because Mahomes drove down and crushed your dreams of ending the streak- but it sure meant something to the Donk players, coaches and front office who are probably tired of losing against us.

If the Donks had won- you would be on here crowing like it was the Superbowl.

I've never really done much gloating when Denver beats the Chiefs. I barely said anything after the JC fumble game. Chiefs fans are the ones who gloat about winning regular season games.

Harris and Talib weren't though, if Denver was serious about winning that game they would've been. Von was probably in there because he wanted to pad his stats in an obvious passing situation.

Why would you gloat about that game? The fumble was the only reason the Donks won that day. Hard to gloat when you won by a fluke at the end.

Nobody is saying they were desperate for the win, but to suggest there weren’t starters playing throughout the game and they weren’t still trying to is ****ing reeruned.
