I live rent free in your head.

I don't think that's every snap because he's documented as giving up 2 sacks and 5 pressures in LIMITED TIME.

Which is also another issue. The offense couldn't sustain anything and he clearly wore down fast.

Well this offense has more 10+ play drives than any team in the league. What do you think he'd look like after 3-4 10 play drives?

Just not a lot of thinking going on about this situation.

We will find out in two weeks who is right

Maybe, but I think too soon to tell. Had they not signed DJ I think probably would have thrown Kingsley out there maybe even called up Driskel to play some RT and give Morris some more LT reps.

Most of the rookie tackles to some degree. Kingsley needs to hit the weight room. The footwork he can learn, but he needs to get stronger with his hands.

I was thrilled with the signing. I hope that the 4.5M we gave him encourages him to come back next year and compete for the job.

Yesterday's game was awful one all accounts. My point all along is simply that Andy is going to go with his known commodity in Thuney at LT, and that's probably what Pat is advocating for as well.

If you want to bitch about Caliendo and the run game, fine. I'm not a Caliendo fan, and frankly was thrilled they gave Kingsley a game at LG. Its not like Caliendo is the future at G, he's a free agent after the year and I'm certainly not paying him anything when you have all this controllable OL talent at your disposal in Kingsley, Morris, Nozard, and Hanson.

Its my belief that the running game will be there in the playoffs with a rested Hunt and Pop back into the grove. But the LT question is all about our passing offense functioning and Andy knows what he can go with Thuney holding down the LT spot. Its as simple as that.

All I care about is the Bills and Ravens playing each other in the divisional round. If that happens I ****ing love our chances.

I think he still will be. He's just got to work on the fundamentals. His size alone will give him more than one chance to reclaim a job as a tackle. Shit look how long they toyed with Niang who never looked as good as kinglsey did week one.

It's also missing the two Oladokun snaps.

We need those six snaps before we can judge.

If you read the tweet it says vs the starters.

PFF said he gave up 6 pressures in the game.

I would at least start him out at LT and if he blows go back to Thuney and Caliendo.

I agree with Matt Lane. He was just fine against the best pass rush in the league.

I would bring him back next year as insurance in the event we cannot find a LT in the draft. He isn’t in game shape and still looked solid.

You don't live rent free in my head, I normally like you but you were an obtuse ass with too many absolutes yesterday. I've got no skin in this. I think Thuney ultimately gets it. I think DJ is the better actual tackle. I'm hopeful that DJ is the answer and our line improves at not one but two spots. I think Humphries is a better left tackle with two more weeks of conditioning than Caliendo is a guard. If I'm wrong I wont be mad.

Imagine being so ridiculously childish that you actually think being a jackass on an internet bulletin board has an affect on the minds of people who disagree with you.

I agree that DJ is the better LT, but its the timing of everything that works against him.

It's a shame that he couldn't come in and hold down the job after getting the start against the Chargers. That would have been ideal. That's what everyone wanted to see. It's just a difficult decision to make now, but that could benefit the Chiefs next year.

I'm all for bringing the guy back. I'd feel way better entering the draft with him on the roster so I didn't feel like I had to draft a LT with my first pick. And who knows, maybe Thuney's the guy in the Divisional and AFC Championship game and DJ starts at LT for the Super Bowl. I'd have to imagine being healthy and practicing over that period of time he would be back to form.

It's not all of them. His worst rep came later and should've been included (as the Broncos still had most of their starting DL in by then).

But it's enough of them to dispose of the whole 'he was a turnstile' myth. He just wasn't.

He was solid. Not spectacular and not a disaster.

Best I can figure is some recency bias - the drive where he gave up the sack came late and that's what people remember. But literally the play right before that he stood Bonitto up.

If the bar was 'adequate' I think he cleared that.

It really is a question of game conditioning. Did he get worse because he got tired or because the game was a shit show and nobody was focused at that point?

Yeah, further evidence that PFF is trash, generated by people who don't know what they're doing and make shit up as a result.
