Let's talk about the Raiders

Stidham is playing well today against a though 49ers defense. (As of 4 minutes left to play in the 4th quarter)

Regardless of how the game Monday night between the Bills and Bengals goes, we need a win.

Talk about it here.

In this era it only implies you were over-used this year and may be an injury waiting to happen the next year. For a free agent his best option is definitely to sit.

We could go on and on. Bottom line is the Raiders are moving on from Carr.
Hell, I’m not talking about whether Carr is going to be a Raider next season. I’m just talking about whether stidham is going to play like Joe Montana or Ryan leaf tomorrow. Based on his history and even his performances this season, I’m betting he’s closer to Leaf than Montana tomorrow.

the reason Stidham worked so well against the Niners is their defense didn't expect him to be as mobile as he was, they game planned for Carr being like Tanooki suit Mario standing there like a statue.

Whether or not the Chiefs defense is planning for this idk if that matters, no offense but your defense isn't that scary, statue Carr has been able to carve it up before. The game will be won offensively, unfortunately for the Raiders you have to go with the offense that has Mahomes in this one. Especially when he goes on a tear and throws like three or four consecutive TDs.

Still think it's going to be a tough fought game, but I'd be surprised for the Raiders to get the win. Doesn't help we have other teams(Buffalo namely) depending on us lol.

I'm guessing Stidham has progressed over the years and we are seeing that play out last week. Dude looked closer to Montana last weekend then Leaf.

Stidham's performance this season is last week and only last week. I'd say that's pretty darn good play this year.

When you say "His Career" there really isn't that much there to look at. You could say he is improving his play over "his career" and that would fit much better with what we are seeing.

Hmm.

PFR shows that stidham played in 4 games this season, and in week 8 he threw 13 times.

And the Chiefs have shut down your offense plenty of times too. Remember last year when you averaged 11.5 points vs the Chiefs?

I think week 8 was against the Saints. Derek played most of the game and never got the offense over the 50 yard line. I think Stidham came in late in the 4th and in his only possession he actually drove them down the field in their best drive of the game.

That makes sense. I also assume that San Francisco didn't really take them seriously and kind of got ambushed. Seen that happen to Chiefs way too often this year.

Surely Andy is treating the game plan for tomorrow like its playoff game one...right? I mean...you go all out...don't dick around...and you get a week off. I mean...the fact that they're likely activating Matthew Wright seems like they're not messing around with the kicking game.
