I've got a crossman 760 too, but the seal on the pump went bad. I have to pump it about 45 times just to hit them hard enough to kill them.

The one I bought was a Gamo Whisper something or other. Damn thing sounded like a 22lr. It was supposed to quiet down after 50-100 shots. I only shot it around 10 or 15 times before the cops showed up and I seriously doubt it would have got quiet enough to shoot in my backyard.

Heck of a deal on the Steiners even if they are Gen I. They do offer Gen II or III filters.

FINALLY got the XDm 10 to range today, after over a month since I purchased it. That is how busy I have been between both work and personal life. Mostly work though.
Took the Delta Elite as well as I’ve been working through the break in process trying to get it into trusted carry mode. Only 2 FTFs today which is almost perfect after the very first time where I had numerous of those and FTEs plus the slide not locking back on an empty mag. It’s almost there which is exciting because I live that gun. The XDm performed as I expected it to, with out issue. The trigger was actually much better than I expected from a DAO and, from what I’ve read will get a bit better with use. I will probably still replace it as I much prefer a lighter crisper pull. Even as a new gun I’d never shot before and with a trigger that is slightly longer and more sluggish than I like all of my shots hit center mass. This is going to be a very accurate pistol as I continue to work with it. I am not at all displeased with my purchase.

Well, my annual bonus hit the ol' bank account today, and I was ready to pull the trigger on this, so to speak. Went to the gun store and had my wallet out ready to buy. But then I asked if I could test fire the 43x and the 48, which is basically the same gun but with a slightly longer barrel (basically a single stack 19).
I had seen one YouTube video where the guy said the thought the 43x sucked because it constantly shot left. Well, that was my experience with both of them. At 10 yards, with a 1' square target, I only had one hit out of five with 43x, and even that was way off the mark. With the 48, I hit the paper three times, but they were all left. Just to make sure it wasn't just me, I shot three rounds with the CZ I was carrying, and those formed a perfect 2" triangle group around the bullseye. So I'm taking a pass on both. They don't shoot nearly as well as my CZ or my 19. |

If you haven’t tried out the HK P30, you should try that one out.

Pretty sure my next pistol will be a PPQ. Still up in the air about the caliber.

Is there a gun maker out there that recreates the German Luger 9mm used in WW2? They are very hard to find, rare and extremely pricey. I'm just wondering of there's a gun manufacturer kind of like Uberti (that recreates old wheel guns) that makes Luger replicas?
