*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Henne retired and we signed Brady. Kinda a wash as I see it, but cute that he's trying on Patrick's jersey. The kid has dreams.

Dieter looks to be close to many other Chiefs other than his BFF. Maybe its because he is the BFF of Mahomes?

We should have this year of Mahomes and next at cheap, then a third year with an above average cap hit (if his extension is structured like KC has structured other deals with a big signing bonus to keep the first year cap hit low) meaning the team won’t start getting limited by the cap till after the new CBA is underway and the cap goes way up due to more games and possibly even more teams along with new TV contracts.

I’m excited to see what Veach does to capitalize on this opportunity to build a dynasty.

I think they extend him after this year. He’s the one player you never mess around with.

I agree

- extend Mahomes
- franchise Hill
- let Jones play out his contract and see where the team and the new CBA is then

Won’t care about NFL MVP when he’s the SB MVP.

I think you have to get a contract done with one of Jones and Hill so you can Franchise the other. Either franchise while you workout a new contract or possibly tag and trade.
