Well, see, that's because OUR second is really a third.

This is the hill we have to climb in any trade scenario.

I would totally take Pringle back if I can cut Moore. Pringle was a useful bottom of the roster type receiver.

Bro

This year IS HISTORY.

No other QB has ever done what Mahomes is looking to do this year.

We have an extra 3rd to work with…it’s time to go get Pat another weapon after losing his top 3 WR to quirky injuries.

Even if we were to give up a first and third…we would still have picks in every other round to make noise with.

That’s what Petro was saying… it’s assumed that all of the Chiefs draft picks will be at the end of each round.

Although don’t they have Tennessee’s 3rd round pick from the Sneed trade?

For Diontae Johnson I would give up our original 3rd and change. Maybe a pick swap (KC 5th switch with Carolina 7th to move up a round).

I just don’t want to give up our first 3 picks

Nobody's saying DO NOTHING.

I'm just saying that these blockbuster type ideas being thrown around are not realistic, and screwing the cap is not a good idea.

And wouldn't be Veach's MO. His way has been working out pretty well.

Because it would basically be a 3rd rounder.

Yes, and Meck said our 2nd was basically a 3rd. But the Bills 3rd is basically a 4th so obviously the Browns weren’t that concerned about compensation.

He's gone.

If you think Veach isn't trying to improve the team, that's your opinion, but I think Veach's history and track record should speak for itself.

If they didn't want Cooper, they didn't want Cooper. Not a good fit, whatever, take your pick.

If they really wanted him, yeah, they could have given a second, I guess. Or the Titans' third.

They didn't. Move on. The Chiefs have.
