Watched The Boy with Maggie from the Walking Dead yesterday. It was OK. They had a decent twist in there but, like most horror flicks, the plot really doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

I'd recommend it, though. The tension during the first hour or so was actually pretty good.

He is the best thing about it. It's a shame really. Waste of a good Tarzan in a boring movie. It isn't horrible, but it is pretty pedestrian.

I agree. Intense first part. When the twist first happened it was pretty crazy. Then it got run of the mill.

Yeah, at first I thought it was pretty cool but after a bit I was just like nahhhhhh.

A solid 9 out of 10 horror flicks these days ends horribly anyway so I wasn't mad.

Wife wanted to see the new Ghostbusters. Between both of us we laughed 3 times, and not at anything that was supposed to be a joke

See, I'm getting mixed reviews. Initially, I wanted nothing to do with the movie. Then I saw the previews and it confirmed my negative thoughts.

Since then, though, it's gotten a pretty good rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and I've heard people say good things about it.

For now, I'm gonna trust your opinion and my first instinct, and stay away.
