We were covered up with turkeys for yrs and almost over night they were gone. Had one or two hens running around for a couple yrs then they started coming back to what I’d call normal population.not that it’s connected but are quail population seemed to rebound during the absence of turkeys.

We had hogs from about 09-11 and turkeys just disappeared when they showed up. About 2 miles away they trapped about 100 hogs over 8 months and we haven’t seen any now for about 3 years. It’s nice to see turkeys making a comeback.

They never mention how many ticks one good hatch of birds eat in their lifetime. Trapping is quickly becoming taboo and unfortunately the hides have no value. I know what I'm going to start doing.

We have more damn armadillos than ive ever seen in my life. i started taking my wifes ruger sr-22 pistol just to pop the bastards when checking trail cams. its ridiculous.
