The retarted homerism that prevents you from understanding the English language is, unfortunately, common in this thread.

In that same game, Trevathan (the DEN LB mentioned in the thread title) was covering a guy deep down the sideline. Trevathan ended up getting better position on the ball than the OAK player and gave himself a chance at an INT. The OAK player, aware of the situation, played a little D and it ended up just being incomplete. Contrast that with the 2nd INT that Manning threw. Thomas appeared to be unaware of Woodson as he simply lifted his hands and waited for the ball to come to him. It's an understandable mistake by the WR caused by either unawareness or lack of aggression. Either way he obviously did just wait for the ball to fall into his hands rather than going up for it. It wasn't a perfect throw by any means. It was a roll of the dice by Manning to try to make a play downfield. It didn't pay off.

He's one of us...and he isn't wrong in that manning needs the O top be catered to what he can still do. Though to say he's the problem is from ****ing Mars.

Well, pointing out 88's weaknesses that helped lead to the INT isn't releasing Manning from blame for a bad play either, and it's far from mental gymnastics.

Jeez another fluke win. Team is a dumpster fire on offense.

Yeah the offense is pretty bad. The OL is the major problem, Manning relies on a good clean pocket more than any other QB in the league. Peyton is also making bad decisions even when he has good protection. We came into the season with 4 new starters on the OL, and have had to shuffle that line the past two weeks because of Sambrailo's injury...

The offense certainly isn't what it used to be... but, thankfully the defense isn't either. Old QB, bad OL, weak ground game - it's a recipe for "blech". Hopefully, they'll start to figure things out and with a 5-0 start, that gives them some wiggle room.
Next 4... @ Browns BYE Packers @ Colts Chiefs Broncos defense will shut down McCown and the Browns. Packers ... that's a big loss there. Colts ... depends on it being Luck or not. Chiefs... it's a win. Low odds of a 1-3 finish in the next 4, but highly likely a 2-2... they're definitely due for a loss with the way they've played. The next month of games will be interesting. As things look now though, I have no visions of greatness to end the season. Not sure what this team is built to do just yet other than make you say "well, it's a win" after the game. I cannot believe you guys have lost Charles... sorry to hear about that.

Not sure what the homerism comment means as I'm a Broncos fan. Fact remains that you have to work real hard to pin those INTs on DT and others. It's called denial.
