How do you guys feel about eventually dying?

I have these random I guess you can call “episodes” where i have this almost out of body experience where i start saying to myself, you’re just you, you’re literally just you, and start thinking about how minuscule i am and then it eventually leads to how i am so fearful of dying one day. I understand I wasn’t around for the Korean War, or world war 2, or the Roman Empire, and that makes sense, since I simply wasnt existing, but now that I exist, the thought of me not existing, and quite frankly never being able to exist again terrifies me. I went to a religious school for a few years and went to church etc, but science tells me that my body make up is unique, and just being born is winning the lottery in its own right. As nice as it is to think my body protrudes this soul is going to rise up and say what up Jesus am I in? or my very unique dna that can profile me as a murderer is going to somehow leak out of my dead composing body, and makes its way into some other woman’s vagina to again try to fight off another 1 million other contestants (assuming dad didn’t jerk off that day) just really gets to me that I have this one chance and this limited, aka very limited time to live a good life. I have a good life mind you. Great wife, supportive family, 2 kids now, great house, but this whole death thing just makes me say sometimes like, wtf man, I want to experience this love and life forever, why does it gotta be so short. Just would like to hear your guys’ thoughts on the manner. Thanks.

This guy also made a 3 part documentary on Remote Viewing almost a year ago. I attended Gateway at The Monroe Institute around 2011/12. It was an amazing experience overall. On the last day of the course, they announced a guest speaker - it’s Joe McMoneagle. I was a fanboy, read his books, knew about Stargate, so I was very excited.

Joe speaks to the group and tells the most insane stories for nearly 2 hours. Joe’s stories are reality shattering. My mind was blown.

Then comes Q&A time.

People in the group are asking Joe various questions. I was racking my mind trying to think of what to ask him. Since I was into OBE’s at the time, I decided to ask him the practical difference between OBE and Remote Viewing.

As I’m thinking this, Joe is mid-sentence answering another question. He then stops, looks directly at me in the group of about 30 peopl, and says “the practical difference between OBE and Remote Viewing is…” then answers my question directly to me. I had not said a word to him.

States of Consciousness and Focus™ Levels

As a result of extensive experiential and brainwave research at the Monroe Institute, a simple system of labels (called Focus Levels) was devised to indicate various states or phases of consciousness. These labels are a means of neutral identification, and are used extensively as part of the training process throughout our weekend and week-long experiential programs.

Focus levels are also used as part of the Gateway Process also known as ‘The Gateway Experience’ and ‘The Gateway Tapes’.

Focus Levels Overview

Focus 1 – Normal, everyday waking consciousness. Completely in phase with physical matter reality. Also referred to as “C1 Consciousness”.

Focus 10 – The physical body is deeply relaxed while the mind remains conscious, awake and alert. “Mind awake, body asleep.” This is the first state of consciousness explored in our Gateway Voyage program.

Focus 11 – The Access Channel – the ultimate communication channel to all levels of awareness -mental, physical, and emotional. Opened during each Human Plus® exercise.

Focus 12 – A state of expanded awareness while the body remains deeply relaxed and asleep.

Focus 15 – A state of No-Time. Consciousness is now far removed from physical body signals. Linear time is no longer relevant to experience. Sometimes referred to as the Void or Pure Potential.

Focus 18 – Through Focus 18, individuals can cultivate a state of unconditional love and acceptance, leading to profound personal growth.

Focus 21 – On the very edge of perception of the time/space continuum. Mind remains fully conscious and active. The Bridge to other realities.

Focus 22 – On the border between time/space and non-physical states of being. Comatose.

Focus 23 – The condition in which an individual may find him or herself immediately following physical death. The territory of the ‘new arrivals’.

Focus 24 – The site of non-physical activity generated by simple or primitive religious or cultural beliefs.

Focus 25 – The expression of the major organized religious beliefs in recent human history.

Focus 26 – Here are identified certain areas, few in number, containing the structures and knowledge of various highly individual religious and other beliefs based on direct experience of self.

Focus 27 – The edge of human thought capacity. The site of a way-station (not a terminus) for rest and recovery from the trauma of physical death, for reviewing life events and for planning the next phase of life.

[Comment: This is the focus level of a place they call "The Park". I've seen it described as the astral plane that most closely resembles physical life/existence on Earth. In Robert Monroe's third book, he wrote that when his wife passed away, people at the Monroe Institute reported to him that they had safely escorted her soul/spirit/conscious energy to "The Park." Whatever is beyond this focus level, beyond the Earth astral planes, I've seen it also referred to as "the doorway to the Absolute", which may have something to do with the final Gateway tape. I saw someone say that to go through this "doorway", you have to leave everything you ever thought you are behind, like a death of the ego. Focus 27 is apparently also at the edge of what Robert Monroe calls in his books the H Band*]

Focus 34/35 – The area of the Gathering. Beings from many other locations within the physical universe are gathered here to witness the upcoming Earth Changes. First mentioned in Bob Monroe’s second book, Far Journeys.

Focus 42 – I-There cluster consciousness.

Focus 49 – Sea of I-There clusters.

* (Comment: Excerpt from Robert Monroe describing H Band in his third book, Ultimate Journey): "The peak of uncontrolled thought emanating from all living forms on Earth, particularly humans is found in the H Band. If you consider it as truly all, even in the current time frame, you get a better idea of the magnitude of this disorganised cacophonous mass of noisy energy. The amplitude of each segment of the band is determined by the emotion involved in the thought. My impression is that it contains not only current time thought patterns, but all that ever existed. They are continuous and simultaneous and it may be that the older radiation is layered, so all one perceives is the current emission.

Thought this was an interesting way of breaking down the methods and steps in the Gateway tapes to reach these deeper states of consciousness:

"Boiling down the Monroe method to the absolute basic essentials

Here is my go at simplifying Monroes's method, and many others I have tried including many meditative practices, to the absolute most basic actions. This approach has helped me not only remove all non-essential activities, but also come up with various replacements. Once you see the approach as a bunch of simple steps, you can then easily contruct new methods for each singular part of the process.

0. create a strong intent with a strong emotion behind it. charge it for some time. This is needed for step 4.

Silence the body: relax muscle groups from toes to skull, relax breathing -> F10

Silence the senses: concentrate only on one sense (breathing, light behind eyelids, etc. only one), now let go of that one sense -> F12

Silence the brain: throw away fears, throw away expectations, stop analysis = become observer -> you end up in F15. You are pure conciousness in the void. F15 is the doorway to the beyond.

Remain in this state, let your intention, or higher self, or guides, or even Robert's voice guide you beyond and into other "places"."

I've witnessed so much death in person. Hundreds. Its rarely a clean death like dying in your sleep. Most were trauma and way too young to die. I didn't see a single person, who knew they were dying or knew its coming soon ever have a religious moment. Not a one.

Didn't say a word about God etc. Not a one. They are wanting to pass on their love of a person or a family. How sorry they were for this or that. Begging us to promise to tell their loved ones. Thankfully, that was the doctors duty.

We practiced our neutral death face in a mirror so when we left the trauma room, we didn't give away that their loved one are dead. We took that seriously. We didnt want to add to their pain.
