Considering the mash unit our offense became that game, that’s still the most impressive playoff win in the Andy-Patrick era in my opinion (Spags gets major flowers here, too).
I’d also add that was THE game of Chris Jones’s career.

He was dominant when we needed him to be.

The sack on Burrow to set up Skyy Moore’s punt return is the first highlight on his Hall of Fame video.

Same. Mostly because the gloating from their end would have been insufferable.

If we lose this game it will suck, but I won't hate the Bills for it.

2022 Bengals get dinged for me due to OL health. IIRC, they were down three of five starters, which contributed to Chris Jones’ dominant night.

He did what he needed to do though.

Their OL was trash the year before and we didn’t destroy Burrow like we should’ve.

Totally. A completely different narrative emerges if they lose. I didn’t just want to beat the Bengals in that game, we NEEDED to beat them.

For sure. I wasn’t disagreeing with you; I was responding more in general to the overarching convo about ranking our CG opponents. I prob shouldn’t have quoted your post.

I agree.

#2 and #3 both worry me...
Imagine how annoyed the refs must be right now at other franchises and fans. They aren't just trying to question the integrity of the Chiefs but the integrity of the refs. The refs let quite a bit go in every single game in the name of letting the teams largely dictate their own results. So, I feel like they are going to more or less let everything go or it's going to be a shower of flags against both teams. Given the ref, the latter is probably more likely. I really don't think they'll favor either team.

I imagine that after the world accuses the refs of being dirty, cheating pieces of shit they wouldn't be to excited to do them any favors.

The NFL is getting a huge amount of publicity right now. I'm sure they love it. Not a single soul accusing the NFL of cheating is actually going to quit watching so it only helps ratings.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Denny's seems like a place Bills fans would assemble

Chiefs have improvements at four of the most important non-QB positions since the last meeting...DE, CB, LT and WR.

That's almost an entire off-season worth of additional players.

Tuney, Brown, Watson and Omenihu is a pretty big difference...they are all really good.

I guess you could throw Pacheco in there as well...

That is absolutely true. None of these people complaining are willing to put their money where their mouth is, whether it's in Vegas or in front of their TVs.
