This has to be the most effective scam I've ever seen. It seems legit, it's stepped in legit sounding process...

Quote:
Hello thanks so much for being interested in these positions. The dog rescue center specializes in abused and abandoned dogs, but they also have a kennel. It is located on a private property not far from park street. There are 3 positions available; PT Behaviorist Helper, FT General duties, PT General duties. For the behaviorist helper, you will be working from Monday through Fridat from 11am to 3pm. You will be helping the behaviorist in different activities that will help an abused and scared dog to become adoptable. For the General Duties positions, the possible hours will be Monday through Sunday from 7am till 5pm. Ideally my client would like me to find 1 FT weekly person and 1 PT weekend person. Each week you will request the hours you'd like to work. Duties for these positions will be walking dogs, playing with them, cleaning up after them, bathing them, and general cleaning of facility. You may also assist in picking up the animals from shelters, no drivers license needed, you'll be riding along in one of the center's vehicles.

Pay for the behaviorist helper is $15/hour. Pay for the general duties jobs start out at $12 per hour but depending on your worth ethic and reliability, my client tells me you can quickly get up to $14/hour for a FT position. My client also tells me that these pay rates are negotiable depending on your experience and past work history.

Almost all of the dogs at this shelter have been abused, so it is very important that we assess your skills in animal handling. As 1 person may believe it's ok to give a disobedient dog a quick "pop on the nose", another person may may believe a stern "NO" is the the answer to dealing with a disobedient dog. In other words, people believe in different ways to handle dogs, this is why the client wants us to make sure we hire the candidate that will help rehabilitate these dogs instead of a candidate who will unknowingly be adding to the dogs traumatic experiences by mis handling them.

So in order to apply for this position, please understand that you must meet the following requirements...

1. Must be 18+
2. 3 Excellent personal references
3. Proof of schooled/tested experience with animal safety/handling OR you may take a pet safety skills exam.

We can accept 2different forms of proof for #3; one form is having a Vet Assistant or Animal Handling Certification from an accredited school or military, an ACO (animal control officer) license,or a different certificate/certification from an accredited school or testing place stating that you are knowledgeable/skilled in dog handling. OR If you don't have any formal testing/schooling on animal handling, then you may also take the Pet Care and Safety Skills exam from ProveYourSkills.com

If you're still interested in one of our positions, I've written the steps for applying below...

A. If you'd like to take the Pet Care and Safety Skills exam from ProveYourSkills.com,

Simply go to www.proveyourskills.com and enter 3942 for the Test ID. We can also give you $30 off on your test, simply enter wefindyourjob as the discount code. The test includes questions on subjects pertaining to dog handling, dog care, and dog behavior and it will prove to us that you have experience with dogs and properly handling them. Once you've taken your test, then please send us your Trans ID # (proveyourskills will provide it), your resume, and references to job3942@wefindyourjob.com.

As soon as we've received notification from ProveYourSkills.com that you've passed your exam, then we will forward your information to the client and if chosen, he will be contacting you for an interview. NOTE: Please understand, that if your Trans ID# is missing then your email will be looked over and you will not be considered for this position.

B. If you have a Vet Assistant or Animal Handling Certification from an accredited school, a military or an ACO license, or a different certificate/certification from an accredited school or testing place for dog handling

Scan your certificate or license and email it with your full name, number, resume, and references to job3942@wefindyourjob.com. Once received, we will add you to the job candidates list and pass you're information on to our client. If chosen, our client will give you a call to set up an interview. NOTE: Please understand, if anything is missing then you will not be considered for a position. If you don't have a scanner then you could take a picture of it with your cell phone cam or go to Office Depot or Kinkos and they can help you.

As you can imagine, we've had a pretty big response with this job listing, so please understand if you do not either send in scanned proof of experience (in one of the acceptable forms) or take the Pet Care and Safety Skills exam FIRST, then we will pass over you for this position. Pet safety and proper handling of these abused dogs is our client's #1 concern, so there will be no exceptions.

If you have a lots of energy and love animals, then this is the perfect job for you, so get your info in asap so you can get the chance to work with these happy hounds!

Woof

Paul

Debating whether or not I should make a 20,000 post thread for myself.

I've never done one, I see a lot of people do them at 10,000 and 20,000 though.
