I don't know what some of you want, exactly. Pay out the ass for Depouty Poopkins? Yeah, 14 catches for 153 yards and no TDs. The Chiefs CLEARLY need some of dat ass, and it's a travesty they didn't dig into the couch cushions to find every last remaining cent to pay him.

Damn it, Brad!!!!!

Titans are pretty awful and Tannehill shouldn’t be a starter. He would be have been solid with us, but I’m glad we didn’t pay him. It’s all working out, as usual.

Tannehill is literally destroying all of the value of the guys he's playing with.

This receiving group is going to be fine. They're getting better every week. My only concern is bread stick Toney taking up a roster slot. By week 5 it's gonna be the Moore, Rice, Kelce show.

We're looking at Super Bowl 4 (in my lifetime) appearance and hopefully it's the Eagles again so I can torment my brothers...again!

Also, Kelce seems to have extra bounce in his step when Taylor shows up so let's keep that trend going.

I get that. But speaking of high-priced guys, I think some of this is people not wanting to accept that we've chosen to pay our OL to protect Mahomes while we still have Kelce and we're going through the process of drafting and developing a whole bunch of young guys at WR.

And we're probably gonna keep hearing some of these idiot complaints next year when we plan on rolling into Week 1 with Rice as our best/top WR.

We will never replicate our offense success from a few years ago, but I also think our offense can be much better and as it gets better, it’s ok for our defense to get knocked down a peg or 2.

I don’t like the way people misrepresent the argument that we’re better without tyreek. I get why we moved on from him. But if you add a 7th round pick Pacheco that is a very different offense in 2019. If you add justin Watson for free that is a much better offense. Our very tiny shortcomings in those years are not because tyreek got in the way. It was because we could’ve done a better job putting depth around him. The original plan was to put juju to play off tyreek. As good as the offense was last year, does anyone think we wouldn’t have been better with that plus Pacheco?
We are worse without Hill right now, no one is questioning that.

If we keep Tyreek and pay him what he wants, sure we would still have the team we have right now plus him, but those expiring rookie contracts would basically be impossible to resign. How do we keep Sneed? Creed? Trey? Gay and Bolton? To name a few.

We traded Tyreek to be not nearly as good right now but to be good enough to always be in the hunt for a Super Bowl for the next 3+ years (probably longer tbh) because our front office and coaching staff keeps churning out quality talent for pennies on the dollar.

As long as you have Mahomes, you're allowed to play the talent economy game like this because its gives you the greatest chance to win Super Bowls year after year. It might look ugly because our WR room currently looks like a bunch of WR3's, but Tom Brady won multiple SB's with WR rooms like this. It is a solid strategy with a proven history of success.

If people think tyreeks contract was too much I get it. That’s not my point.

I’m talking about people who want to blame the 2022 cincy loss on an offense that revolves around hill. While we had him we could have and should have built better depth around him. That is the reason for our 2022 shortcomings, not because the offense was worse off when we had hill.

I don't think anyone is objecting to drafting young players and hoping you hit.

All some of us have said is that there needs to be some action/course correction if that plan isn't on schedule.

There never was a doubt that we would be a good team or could score on teams like the Bears.

It's about scoring points in the biggest games of the year when needed. We don't know yet.

And it doesn't have to be some huge purchase. A Hollywood or a Braxton Berrios type might be enough if someone doesn't step up.

Did you just lump a guy who was traded for a first 18 months ago with Braxton Berrios in the bargain bin aisle?

Hollywood is more expensive. The point is neither would need a blockbuster deal. Reason Hollywood might be cheaper than he should be since Arizona mgmt wants a high pick in the draft.

Mahomes plus best 52 is an extremely viable plan to compete for every single Super Bowl until the end of his career. Every single one.

No.

Don't piss away picks on non-solutions. What the hell would Braxton Berrios add to our team if this is about the extent of the per game production we're going to get out of our WRs this year?
